You don’t catch Post Trauma Stress, it’s NOT a disease!

Post traumatic stress is not a virus, nor a bacterial infection, it doesn’t infect your body. It does however infect your mind. Mind and body are one, the principle we work on. What affects one affects the other with absolute precision. Thoughts are behaviour.

There is, and has never been, to date ANY objective scientific test to identify, isolate and cure post traumatic stress. What does exist are drawn from a historical discourse of subjective observations and opinions based on ‘expert’ knowledge and underpins medical/psychology definitions of patterns of thinking and their behaviours. Hence the addition of the label ‘dis-order’. This is logged and categorised into a database, a manual for ‘diagnosis’ and the dispensation of chemical treatments.

We do not work on this principle. YOU are the expert in your own thoughts and behaviour, only YOU can deal with it!

So, what exactly is Post Traumatic Stress?

Mind and body are one, inseparable. Post Traumatic Stress is a CHOICE. A choice to respond in the way you do to triggers active in your mind, nothing more, nothing less.

If you choose to ‘suffer’, you can choose, or more accurately decide not to. PTS, when all is said and done is as individual as fingerprints, no two cases are the same. What people see and react to are behavioral patterns which ‘curers’ or rather ‘treaters’ identify and offer coping strategies, often chemical based.

There is no PTS ‘cure’ in pills, powders and potions, legal or not, only avoidance and temporary relief, and for some, coping via dependency and addiction.

Some Common Drivers of PTS.

Shock - Massive pattern interrupt; shattering experience; revelation/truth; negative reframe.

Guilt - I did/did not do something when I could/should have.

Rage/Anger/Frustration - Something you witnessed/experienced you believe to be unjust.

Broken Heart - Loss of trust, respect, loyalty; regret; abandonment.

Depression/Despair - Failure; Life/everyone hates me; loneliness/rejection.

Fear/Terror - Sensual overload; fright; imagination/horror; apprehension.

Virtue Signalling - Look at and pity me; YOU don’t understand…

We do not use psychoanalysis, build a profile nor take a deep dive into your inner private memories and history. We don’t need to! Why trigger painful experiences when all you need to do is make a choice?
