You don’t catch Post Trauma Stress, it’s NOT a disease!

Post traumatic stress (PTS) is not a virus, nor a bacterial infection, it doesn’t infect your body. It does however infect your mind. Mind and body are one, the principle we work on. What affects one affects the other with absolute precision. Thoughts are behaviour.

There is, no objective scientific test to identify, isolate and cure post traumatic stress. PTS is as individual as fingerprints.

What is known is drawn from decades of observations of patterns of behaviour. Expert knowledge underpins medical definitions of psychological dis-orders used for ‘treatment’ and pretend ‘cures’.

So, what exactly is Post Traumatic Stress?

Mind and body are one, inseparable. Post Traumatic Stress, along with FFS (Fear of Future Stress) is a CHOICE. A choice to respond and behave in the way you do to triggers active in your mind, nothing more, nothing less.

Fact: Somewhere along the line people choose to ‘suffer’ PTS/FFS. It is a psychological reaction to an event(s) experienced/predicted. Many ‘suffering’ may not be aware of triggers and anchors in their mind that fire meltdowns and episodes.

Because PTS is based on a cause and effect relationship, you can choose, or more accurately decide not to ‘suffer’.

What people see and react to are behavioral patterns. which ‘curers’ or rather ‘treaters’ identify and offer coping strategies. Dr Thomas’ Choice Method puts an other arrow in your quiver to target the root cause. Success depends on how good your aim is, exactly why it’s a choice. You don’t hit targets if you don’t practice!

Shock - Massive pattern interrupt; shattering experience; revelation/truth; negative reframe.

Guilt - I did/did not do something when I could/should have.

Rage/Anger/Frustration - Something you witnessed/experienced you believe to be unjust.

Broken Heart - Loss of trust, respect, loyalty; regret; abandonment.

Depression/Despair - Failure; Life/everyone hates me; loneliness/rejection.

Fear/Terror - Sensual overload; fright; imagination/horror; apprehension.
